With a deep-rooted passion for creativity and exploration, Debbie Riddick has shaped a career by embracing the paths that inspire her most. After earning a Master’s Degree in Education and spending six years teaching in Columbia, S.C., she and her husband, John, moved to Hilton Head Island, where she opened her own interior design business in 1989. She still enjoys running the design business on a part-time basis, blending her eye for detail with her love of beautiful spaces. In 1994, Debbie and John relocated to Charleston, S.C., where her passion for travel blossomed into a new career. For more than 18 years since, she has been dedicated to crafting unforgettable journeys for her clients, combining creativity, care, and a true love of discovery.What makes her story unique is that she has truly lived out all three of the paths she once imagined as a child ...teaching, design, and travel. A lover of music, culture, and beautifully curated experiences, Stef is a Washington, DC area travel advisor based in Arlington, Virginia.

Originally from Wisconsin and having spent many years living in New York City, she brings both warmth and sophistication to every journey she designs. When she is not crafting unforgettable itineraries, you will likely find her booking local musicians, hosting music bingo nights at venues throughout DC and Virginia, attending live performances, or entertaining friends with home cooked meals and baked treats.

Her passion for international travel began in college when she toured Europe with her choir and traveled to Canada to attend the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. Those early adventures sparked a lifelong love of discovering destinations through their art, history, cuisine, and people. That same perspective shapes every trip she plans today.

With a strong background in event planning and professional services, Stef is known for her exceptional attention to detail. In her work supporting attorneys at an AmLaw 100 international law firm, she developed the ability to manage complex logistics, anticipate needs before they arise, and handle time sensitive matters with precision and discretion. These skills translate seamlessly into thoughtful, well organized, and stress free travel planning.

Her leadership and creative experience extend beyond her professional career. She has served on the board of the Contemporary A Cappella Society, working at music festivals across the United States, planned events in multiple cities for Meetin.org, and helps organize monthly outings and adventures through her condominium social committee. These roles allow her to blend creativity with structure, ensuring every journey feels both inspired and effortless.

My favorite journeys are rooted in discovering a destination’s history, culture, and of course its cuisine, a passion inspired by my undergraduate and graduate degrees in history. I believe travel is one of the most meaningful ways to experience the stories of the world.
